        The Gibsonburg Golden Bears did a challenging thing this season by completing the perfrect season(10-0) by deafting Hilltop 48-18.

         1st quarter with 4 minuets remaining Madison Jaso ran for a touchdown putting the bears up 6-0. Golden Bears defense gave up a touchdown to tie the game at 6-6.

         During the 2nd quarter in the red zone the Bears fumbled on the drive. Later, in the same drive, Hilltop capitalized on a Gibsonburg fumble with a passing touchdown. Hilltop was up 12-6. With 2 minutes remaining, Madison Jaso ran in for another touchdown with the Bears leading 14-12. Later on, Griffin Geary had an interception by the Golden Bears defense but could not capitalize. Later, with 30 seconds remaining, before half Zack Kaetzel had a huge pick six for the Golden Bears. Right before half last play of second quarter Josh Dyer had a pick to keep the Bears rolling going into half 21-12.

          Begining the second half Madison Jaso ran for another touchdown putting the Bears at 28-12. Later in the 3rd Ryan Clark threw a touchdown pass to Marcus Tille putting the Bears up 42-12.

          In the 4th quarter the Bears were not done scoring yet with backup quarterback Addison Weaver with a rushing touchdown with the Bears leading 48-12.

          The Golden Bears defense was great tonight only giving up 18 points but having 3 interceptions by the Bears defense. The Golden Bears will play in playoffs next weekend! Saturday night @ 7pm at Gibsonburg vs Van Buren.
