           Tonight on December 29, 2015 the Golden Bears were in non-league play against the Genoa Comets. Gibsonburg looked to get 3 wins in a row tonight if they could win tonight.  In the first quarter, the Bears went on a great earlier 8-0 run they only allowed 5 points in the first quarter. At the end of the first the Golden Bears were leading 12-5. In the second quarter, Golden Bears wouldn’t let up lead at half 30-14.  

 

       In the third quarter, Genoa tried to go on a run but the Golden Bears were too strong on Defense leading turnovers and scoring on fast break. Golden Bears led 46-39 at end of third. In the fourth yet again Golden Bears forced turnovers and ran their offensive plays to put away Genoa Cements. Bears win 66-52. The Bears will be in action virus Maumee Valley on January 8 away come support!
